A Caturday post: I’ve been feeding this stray cat for a while now and its been coming by the house more often lately. I know I shouldn’t but stray cats are the most depressing things aside from that Sarah Maclachlan commercial for the SPCA. My brother tells me it’s pregnant which now I am definitely obligated to feed it even more. Guess I will really grow up to be a crazy cat lady after all.

Yesterday was the first time I visited the hiking trails behind the Nature Center. I’ve been dining out with my brother and sister lately and one of our new favorite spots in town is Local Foods down in the Rice Village. This gourmet sandwich shop uses fresh and, wait for it, local ingredients. Each sandwich order, as if it wasn’t already enough, comes with two sides ranging from quinoa, or homemade cous cous to delicious cabbage slaw.
