Dallas by day

I made my first trip to Dallas after all these years living in Texas and found that I really enjoy the city. My sister was graduating with her Masters and it was a good excuse to finally see the city. The drive was a short one (especially since I was able to finally nap my way from an exhausting week full of work deadlines) and even though the trip was a short weekend, we  still […]

Downtown Houston has always had a soft spot in my heart. Even when I used to live in the suburbs,  I would find myself making that long trek into the city. So my friend, AJ and I, made that ten hour drive to West Texas and found ourselves immersed into a quick but amazing weekend of art, music, and Instagram memories. We […]

I took my niece and nephew to the Bayou Bend Gardens for a quick photo session during my Spring Break. I was hoping to catch the pink magnolias in full bloom, but unfortunately, missed it by a week. We were able to enjoy the camellias, tulips and azaleas that were still showing their vibrant pink blooms. I really love this garden and have been meaning to visit it at least once a year. You have […]

Life / weekends

As a photo blogger, photo files are so important to me, so when my hard drive crashed on me last November, I had a pretty bad meltdown over potential lost files and memories that I had deemed lost forever. Fortunately, my brother was able to recover the majority of the files on my hard drive and life is a little bit more sane again. 🙂 So the next few posts will be catching up from […]
