I’m stocking up for the holidays and putting my little creatures to good use this year on the tree. I love the holidays, but it always goes by way too fast!
seventeen again
Two things I can’t get enough of lately, Youth Lagoon’s album and Submarine. I’ve probably watched this four times already this month. It’s one of the smartest and endearing coming-of-age films I’ve seen in a while. A favorite scene of mine. The [unofficial] Youth Lagoon video for 17 is a bit silly, but beautifully shot.
autumn excitements
Getting an early start on planning Thanksgiving meal this year. I want to try to make something differet other than the traditional turkey and pumpkin fare. This roasted tomato soup from Sprouted Kitchen looks like a winner so far.
