Met up with Andrew for lunch at Downhouse Friday afternoon. It’s been so long since I’ve seen him, I blame him of course, but it was good hang out, grub, and grab some delicious gelato at our favorite spot, Cricket’s. It’s almost Halloween and I love how everyone is celebrating All Hallow’s Eve with little touches of gore and horrors here and there. I like to look at these photos and dwell on the fond memories of happier and healthier times before I caught a stomach virus the very same night. No more shrimp tacos for me.

* rasberry and coffee crunch for me

* Andrew’s best impersonation of me. I have slouching problems.

Vintage

Sorting through my closet and bringing out fall and winter clothes. It’s time to layer on those blouses and silk skirts and wool cardigans. I just love autumn hues like mustard yellow, burnt umber, chartreuse, hot magenta and bright tomato reds.

Also, for some reason, I love wearing vintage during autumn the most. Two of my favorite essentials, both vintage, a gilded lion purse and a leather brown woven handbag that is beginning to show its wear and tear after all these years.

an intimate affair

weekends

Our friends, Erika and Howie, were wed this Saturday. It was a lovely, intimate wedding with a small group of friends and family surrounded by gorgeous hanging lights and flowers and candlelight. There’s quite a few photos to scroll through, but there are some sweet little details that I really love. The courtyard where the ceremony took place during sunset was so serene and beautiful. I really love the way everyone looks so dreamy at this hour of the day.

A wish tree that I made for the newlyweds. I’m happy they liked it and it really sparkles under the low lighting.

Phamily

Hanging out with Rocky, our newest member to the Phamily. My sister and her husband just got this white husky a few days ago. He’s only 14 months old, but so big. I’m not much of a dog person (cats rule!), but he’s quiet most of the time, which makes it better to cuddle with on the sofa. Total count so far, 3 dogs, and 3 cats. It’s a good thing they are not living under the same roof.

White spray roses and glitter for a friend’s wedding coming up this Saturday. My hands still have remnants of glitter here and there and I can barely bend one of my knuckles due to super glue, but I’m excited to get this wish tree finished tomorrow.
