New splurges for myself. I decided to go on a jewelry shopping spree this past month. I haven’t bought so much since I used to work at a jewelry store, but I couldn’t resist a few rings that I’ve been eying for a awhile including these lovely rings and a pair of art deco earrings and some more owl necklaces to add to my collection. Also, I’m loving the new collection from Zara, especially this red dress which I wore to the wedding reception. Chic and simple. I’m really holding back the urge to get another one in a nude color.

During their visit in town, we took the kids to the Children’s Museum where they had a blast running around role playing various occupations and learning about different cultures. Some of my favorites. Is this cute overload or what?

The past week has been complete pandemonium with all the wedding celebrations happening and my favorite aunt and uncle and little cousins were staying in the same house. It didn’t take long soon after their arrival for the young ones to get comfortable with their new surroundings as they took out their drawing papers and crayons to make the newlyweds a few wedding cards. This is Jessica meeting Joey on the first day of their arrival. The kids were more enthusiastic about it, but Joey has always been a nervous-tempered cat.

Well, the wedding is over and I’m trying to recuperate from all the sleep deprivation. Hopefully, I can post some pictures of some of the things I made for the wedding if I can find any since I was so busy that day, I forgot my camera! Stay tuned.
