So my favorite Indian, Ro, got myself some photo press passes for the Mute Math and As Tall As Lions show this Friday at the Warehouse. a m a z i n g. My first As Tall As Lions show, even though they were just the opening band, and their lead singer, Dan, was unable to perform due to throat problems. Instead, they opted to perform some amazing instrumental sets with bassist Julio taking the reigns to sing on some of the songs. I think I had an orgasm in the pit. It was so good. Although, I’ll remember to bring ear plugs next time because I’m pretty sure I’m partially deaf in both ears now. can’t wait for their headlining tour in March.

I do love a good trumpet solo.
