Met up with some old friends, Camilo and Nathalie, for some margaritas and art tonight. I can’t believe it’s been almost two years already. Time goes by too quickly. We spent some time at the CAMH to check out a new exhibition by Marc Swanson. The ongoing exhibit by Stan VanDerBeek will also be up for another week so you should really check it out. His collage work in video and mixed media is really inspiring. It was refreshing to be able to snap photos in a museum setting without guards chasing you down. Afterwards, we grabbed drinks at our local favorite, Poison Girl. Two good things you can get at Poison girl, a pretty decent dark & stormy and goldfish in a bowl.
