a few things this week …
Fresh plums are in season. These are still a bit sour, but I’ve been snacking on them all week … Making crispy baked kale chips. These kale chips, along with some cheese, spicy capacollo, edamame, and pickled ginger, were packed in a snack plate for the Myth & Symbol crew. My friends have been hard at work setting up their new boutique and the snack plate was also a good excuse to get a sneak peak at all the new goodies in the store. Can’t wait until the grand opening party next week … Fresh, hot, baked cookies and the new edition of Lula is all I need during these spontaneous rainstorms which have been frequently showing up inconveniently these past weekends.
