I’ve been craving food trucks lately, so after running a good three miles last Thursday we managed to track down a Korean-Mexican fusion food truck called Oh My Gogi!  for some delicious short rib tacos and spicy sirachi fries. mmm. .delicious. The owner was a young guy who took some time off to chat with us while we grubbed on the sidewalk. The truck’s only been in business for a few weeks. I love good street food, but its just too bad that you have to drive around town to find a decent one in Houston. I’m going to try out a few more food trucks around town. I know there’s a fantastic taco truck down in Harrisburg if you’re in town. It’s actually a school bus renovated into an eatery, and the fajita tacos are really yummy!

A quick substitute for cookies. Dragon fruit and kiwi salad. Don’t be fooled by it’s spiky red outer shell because the texture of the dragon fruit is sort of like a mix between watermelon and kiwi. It’s quite refreshing and is in season right now, I think. Best eaten when chilled first!
