I must be in a ballet state of mind. I finally went to see The Nutcracker at the Wortham theater the other week. I have to say. I was a little disappointed in the production, but it must be because I kept comparing it to the Nutcracker Motion Picture. I love that film. Everytime I watch this film, I’m absolutely mesmerized by the Waltz of the Snowflakes scene. It’s like jellyfish slowly descending the sea sometimes. i also saw the the much anticipated Black Swan. Such an amazing film. I feel like I should use words like tour de force and triumph here. There it goes. In other words, I think it’s topping the year end list so far.
