My sister turned her big 30 this year. I think the year has been off to a good start so far. We have lots to look forward to in the future and nothing seems to be holding us back thus far. It’s been a bit tough these last two years, with me trying to figure out what I want to do in life, but I think after getting this teaching job and starting this photography company, I at least have a good idea of where I would like things to go in the future. And the future 30 is not so far for me either. In the meantime, I’ll have to learn to embrace my freckles, the never-ending case of  tangled hair and my affinity for junk food as a good thing. It reminds me of days in the sun with my Radioflyer and catching dragonflies and mosquitoes with our brothers, and playing wishbone with blades of grass.
