Wish tree

Originally, I planned on manzanita branches for the wish tree, but I found these sparkly branches on clearance at a sidewalk sale at the craft store and couldn’t pass up such a sweet deal. This makes good practice for the larger wish tree I’ll be making for the wedding reception. Advertisements

My favorite part of the party planning was making all the flower arrangements. I’m not much for having a perfect arrangement. I prefer the “I just picked it from my garden” look. Finally a great opportunity to put those vintage glasses and vases to good use. These She Says, He Says game cards were a fun collaboration with the bride and groom. Inspired by this. I love love these yellow acacia blooms. They really brighten […]

I’m finally catching up to all my correspondence. I’ve been a big procrastinator for the past month, but the last few weeks have been keeping me on my toes. A last minute teaching opening has gotten me all in a frenzy of paper work and lesson planning and rubrics. I’ll be very excited if I manage to land this job, but at the same time, I won’t be devastated if not, because I know there’s […]

Making snail mail to send to some old friends. I forgot how studious and unwavering I can be when I get started on a project. It’s already 3AM now. My hand hurts, but I’m glad to be productive. I just love getting mail so hopefully,  this will make someone smile!
